About the artist
Elle Banks
Elle is a LA based artist who began creating art with an initial spark of interest in painting. While studying at CalArts, her practice grew into multiple mediums with the primary areas of focus being mixed medium painting and screen-printing. Since her time at CalArts, Elle has expanded her practice branching into photography, animation, and has further developed her writing.
Pulling from her life experience, Elle primarily creates art exploring disengagement from reality, drug abuse, and the multitudes of the human brain.
